Soigné is a mobile app design created as a passion project. It is an application designed for the amateur baker. Soigné means “to make it perfect” and this app guides users in perfecting all their own recipes. Users can also keep track of their recipes in the recipe journal or learn more about baking ingredients and techniques.

I designed the concept, brand identity, hand drawn assets, copy, and mobile app prototype. The brand is meant to capture the feeling of homemade goods with the use of the hand drawn type and brand assets. The colors were inspired by the muted colors seen in baked goods.

I conducted research on baking techniques and found a target market for the app. I created a mood board and user persona, which helped me develop the brand identity and user map. I took a user-focused approach to create the wireframes and workable prototype of Soigné using Figma.
